What does it feel like to imagine our song?

How many times a day do we focus on the “other”?

How do we often re-prioritize our needs when “something comes up”?

This is a practice that many highly sensitive people do! It is considered a caregiver trait as well.

Let me care for you and when you’re ok, then I’m ok.

What if it was the other way ‘round?

What if we say, first I calm myself THEN I tend to you?

What if we say, let me center myself THEN you can match my mood?

What if we allow ourselves to play and THEN prioritize others’ needs when our cup is replenished.

This is the new world, folks!

Please be aware that this kind of shakeup will transform you and the world around you.

Are you ready for change?

This kind of re-priortitization creates a peaceful mindset for all involved. The benefits include better health, increased sleep, better conversations where all are present for their needs and to support one another. It rocks.

Let me tell you why: to hold ourselves as a priority– not as the sole priority, not as “only I matter”– this is where all people begin to hold their truth.

Try it. Try it for a day and see how it feels. It probably will feel uncomfortable. New. Unusual. You may get some odd reactions. It might not work. You might default back to the old programming. But try it again.
